Dr. Alejandro Salado is an Associate Professor of Systems and Industrial Engineering at the University of Arizona. His research advances the theoretical foundations of systems engineering, with deep expertise in requirements, verification and validation, and decision making in the engineering of complex systems.

For the past two years, Dr. Salado has collaborated with Modelware on the OML CoPilot research project, exploring how AI assistants grounded in formal models can help engineers create, edit, and analyze ontologies following a modeling method.
